Turntable

I created a custom turn table using a DC motor with an encoder, held up by an aluminum frame and base and acrylic table.

  • The turntable base is also held up by rollers so that the motor torque is only required for unidirectional actuation, allowing the table to hold higher powder masses without motor stalling.
  • The turn table allows the robot to scan and clean all corners of an object.
  • This turntable is programmed with an arduino mega and motor controller to provide a rotational accuracy of 1 degree
